The CLS-2444 series of orbital shaking incubators feature a unique counter balance weighting system that is adjustable to accommodate off-center loads, varying capacities and stroke lengths which allows for smoother operation. An adjustable orbit allows the user to change the rotational stroke from 0.5 inches (vigorous shaking) to 1 inch (gentle shaking) to accommodate different types of cells and to provide maximum oxygen transfer. These units have small footprints and their chambers include a shelf. The 朢06 & -RH6 models refrigerate via a 1/6 horsepower motorized compressor (produced without CFCs/HCFCs).
All major functions: temperature, RPM and time, have alarms that alert the user to deviations from set parameters. Over temperature protection is provided by a safety thermostat. Fluorescent light in the unit provides clear visibility of the large chamber interior. Access port included for recording and monitoring accessories. Supplied with one platform and one shelf.
